FOODNET

Food Social Sensor Network (Food NET) is a research and innovation project concerning Smart Cities and Communities that begun in January 2017.

Funded by Regione Lombardia within the scope of the POR FESR 2014-2020 program – Research & Innovation Agreements, the project intends to build a platform to provide guidelines and technologies aimed at making functional food accessible and efficient for over 65 y.o. citizens of the Metropolitan City of Milan.

The nutritional conditions of the target will be evaluated under the social, historical, psychological and medical profile and the data will be integrated with their lifestyle characteristics in order to interpret nutritional needs.

NATURHA

It aims at producing new functional ingredients coming from non-edible plant matrixes combined with probiotic strains. Beneficial effects are studied to improve the immune system of elderly people affected by dysmetabolisms related to intestinal absorption and ineffective immune response.

CAAD NOVARA

In 2020 Complife has opened a center of Research and Development at the Center for translational research on Autoimmune and Allergic Diseases at the University of Novara, with a structure of 50 square meters entirely dedicated to research and an industrial doctorate for the study of new genomic tests on the cutaneous microbiota.
