Quality and reliability at the heart of Solar Testing

13 February 2025

Sun protection factor (SPF) and UVA protection factor (UVAPF) are more than just numbers on a sunscreen bottle — they are a scientifically determined measure of a sunscreen’s efficacy in protecting against UVB and UVA rays, respectively. Ensuring the accuracy of both SPF and UVAPF ratings is essential to confirm that a sunscreen provides the advertised level of protection. This is the reason why Complife regularly participates in international proficiency programs like BIPEA, ensuring quality in solar testing.
Today we are proud to share, once again, that our proficiency test results both for SPF (ISO 24444) and UVAPF (ISO 24443) testing ranked in the green zone, demonstrating the highest level of accuracy.

The excellent results we achieved clearly reflect our strong commitment to sunscreen evaluation at the highest standards. In every BIPEA PT assessment, Complife consistently falls within the green zone of the statistical criteria, guaranteeing reliability and precision in our testing processes.

Testing sunscreens is more than just a routine procedure for us — it’s our commitment to quality, accuracy, and innovation in solar testing.

COMPLIFE IS ALWAYS COMMITTED TO BRING THE BEST EXPERIENCES OF TESTING TO ITS CLIENTS and from many years is voluntary enrolled in the sunscreen product proficiency testing program organized by BIPEA to control the reliability of our sunscreen testing procedures.

The Complife research and development team is always training for continuous improvement and is ready to provide advice and support about the new solar testing methods of tomorrow.
