An in vivo study correlated with lipidomic data is in fact a complete study, which allows to associate a measurable physical value, such as the depth of wrinkles, with molecular characteristics of the surface layers of the skin. 

It is possible to understand and relate what we see outside (wrinkles, little elasticity, dry/oily skin etc…) with the molecular changes that occur at the level of the hydrolipidic mantle. 

Thanks to this type of analysis we obtain a multitude of information at once (typical of the omics sciences) that can be crossed to have a better understanding of your product and define the best way to communicate it on the market. 

 

HOW IS IT DONE?

Our team of experts employ the innovative ULTRA-PERFORMANCE LIQUID CHROMATOGRAPHY QUADRUPOLE time-of-flight mass spectrometry (UPLC-Q-TOF-MS); a powerful analytical method, to investigate the variations in SSLs.
